Discord House Rules

In this server you can find everything about masterservers and support for your game. We work on supporting legacy multiplayer games by writing, maintaining and hosting masterserver software. To make your stay as pleasant as possible, we have a few rules. Violating these rules may lead to your messages being removed, or you being removed from this server.

1) General behaviour:

1. The staff is always right.
2. Act mature and respect each other.
3. Use proper English or die trying.
4. Don't be afraid to @mention or ping, but don't overdo it.
5. Voice channels: free use, but behave.
6. Non-333networks talk in any of the OFFTOPIC channels.
7. No UwU-ing.

2) Unwanted behaviour:

1. Discrimination, abusive language, rude, harassment or virtue signalling.
2. Spam, severely off-topic (trash)talk or trolling.
3. Forcing political/religious discussion.

3) Instant kick/bans:

1. Posting other people's private properties (name, address, phone, private information).
2. Selling or advertising products or links to content containing these.
3. Porn or links to content containing porn.
4. Trading illegal software or products.
5. Cracks, serials or illegally obtained copyrighted/licensed content.
6. Provocative profiles and/or glorifying terrorism or terrorist organisations.

OFFTOPIC channels:

1. Present quality discussion topics with references, links and / or motivation of argument.
2. Keep the discussion relevant to the channel topic.

Treat others in the same way as you expect them to treat you.

Channel categories

We arranged our channels by purpose in the following categories:

• Information, Bots & Roles
  All relevant information in one place. Join the workgroup and subscribe for relevant groups like your favourite game. The #hub channel lists other communities for which 333networks provides masterserver support that may be of interest to you.
• 333networks
  The lobby of this server. A channel for general discussion when you arrive with us, a helpdesk channel and discussion for support of new games.
• Workgroups (WG)
  Looking for a way to get involved with 333networks? Join the @workgroup role to discuss development, website, support, documentation and other topics relevant to improving 333networks. This category contains mostly technical discussion.
• Games
  Upon joining our server, we ask you to select a game role in the #roles channel. By reacting to the role menu (click the icon associated with your game) you are assigned to one or more games. This gives us an indication on the amount of players for every game. For some games, support is more tedious than others. That is why some games have their own support channel. Feel free to ask all your masterserver/support questions for your specific game there.
• Offtopic
  Only discussing masterserver stuff and support gets tedious. We also are a community and this is the category where we unwind. We talk about a variety of things, including computers, programming, cooking, tea, cheese, pets and memes (obviously). Everything and nothing, really.
• Voice Channels
  Busy with other things or not that much a fan of reading/writing? We also have voice channels for generic discussion or for people who are ingame.

Things to keep in mind

333networks is ran by volunteers. Without these people and their efforts, many of your favourite games would not work today. Many people on our discord server are there because they choose to help others. We ask you to treat the staff, volunteers, members and visitors with respect. They are not here to do your bidding. Please be patient and help us help you by reading up on relevant information so we can all continue to help each other.
